Dreams Do Come True

Salah satu impian terbesar gue adalah jadi dosen dan mengajar. Alhamdulillah, impian itu terwujud. Gue seneng dan bersyukur banget.

Capek, sih. Pulang kantor, masih harus ke kampus dan cuap-cuap di kelas sampai jam 9 malam, kadang lewat. Tapi, kalau hati kita senang, maka rasa lelah itu gak ada artinya, euy! 

Mengajar itu seru, ya! Setiap kelas punya cerita sendiri. Setiap pertemuan meninggalkan kesan. Kadang kesan menyebalkan, tapi lebih banyak kesan menyenangkan.

Ada sih, gue ketemu mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang dodol, males dan bikin ulah, tapi lebih banyak mahasiswa yang rajin dan serius kuliah.

Semester lalu, gue ngajar beberapa mata kuliah. Salah satunya adalah INTENSIVE READING FICTION. Aha! Fiksi!

Jadi ceritanya, Mahasiswa kelas Intensive Reading Fiction ini gue kasih proyek, sebagai nilai latihan, selama setengah semester.

Proyeknya sederhana aja kok. Gue minta mereka mengunjungi blog gue, trus pilih salah satu cerpen yang ada di sana, trus tulis review-nya. Gak usah banyak-banyak, cukup 150 – 200 kata. 

Berhubung ini jurusan Bahasa Inggris, maka review-nya harus in English. Plus, gue minta mereka lampirkan foto, karena bakal gue publish di blog.

Dasar anak bahasa, ya … diminta foto malah pada protes. 

“Ah, gak usah pake foto deh, Miss… Malu…”

“Gak pake foto, gak papa ‘kan Miss ? Gak pengaruh ke nilai, kan Miss?”

Ya udah, karena gue pingin jadi dosen yang disukain dan didoain, bukan disebelin dan disumpahin mahasiswa, maka gue bebaskan

“Yang mau pake foto, silahkeun… Yang gak mau , gak papa. Gak ngaruh ke nilai, kok…”

Walhasil, dari sekitar 40-an Mahasiswa, yang kirim tugas review plus foto cuma 6 orang!

Emang ‘kan, anak bahasa itu rata-rata introvert…

Tapi lumayan, lah… mereka serius ngerjain tugas yang gue kasih. Terlihat dari antusias mereka untuk mengirim. Yah, ada satu, dua orang sih yang gak kirim tugas, biasa-lah…

Ada yang kudu revisi beberapa kali. Diminta review cerpen, eh, dia malah nge-review catatan perjalanan gue. Hehehe… ada juga yang mentranlate seluruh cerpen ke dalam bahasa Inggris. 

Ya, terpaksa gue suruh revisi… wong, instruksinya sederhana. Cuma tulis review atau re-tell. Ceritakan ulang dengan bahasamu sendiri, dalam bahasa Inggris…

Well, terlepas dari itu semua… gue merasa proyek ini cukup berhasil. Berikut ini gue posting beberapa review. Gak semua gue posting, kebanyakan, euy!

Note : Jangan perhatikan soal grammar. Gue tahu, banyak banget grammar mereka yang salah. Gak ada waktu dan tenaga buat betulin grammar mereka satu per satu... hehehe

Alicia has a sister. Her name is Alina. They different two years, Alicia is student but Alina is not student because she has autism disease since she was two years old and it spend a lot of money for her treatment, so Alicia can not reach her favorite school and it make Alicia dissapointed. Beside it, Alina has a peculiar interest in coffee. She always liked kind all of coffee and she can make a delicious coffee. One day Alina make a special  coffee for Alicia’s friend because she falling in love with Alicia’s friend so she wants to participate Alicia goes to school, but Alicia does not give permission. Afer she managed to free herself from Alina. Alina apparently continue to seek Alicia and she chases to the highway, inevitably she shouted Alicia name. Suddently a large truck at high speed hit the small frame up crashing on the pavement and her life can not be saved.

There are 2 teenagers the named was Langit Merah and Samudra Biru. The boy with the name Langit Merah was student in Surabaya and then he moved to school as same like Samudra Biru. Alicia was thought Merah is Biru soulmate because their  name reflect to the real life when sun set the sky turn to red.  On there first met Biru was thought he’s very unfriendly cause he didn’t give his smile to the others. When she ask him to join some exercise from Biru’s school he even want to ignore but when she give the explanation what they do at school exercise he’s very excited to Sinapala (name of mountain climber in Biru’s school) but his father was reject him to join with them. Another day when Biru knows why Merah look so fierce to his friend. Because he didn’t want the others know he’s got epilepsy.

I realized that, if she, the girl simple with her headscarf is always to exist for me in glad or bad. Always there if i need for her aid. The girl simple that before just person I adept as besfriend. No more. The girl that new i know if arrived enough important for my life. It started with simplicity of Edelweis, i understand if that girl the same special perennial flower. And i do not want to late realized how to her so special after i lost her. Even if  she not pretty and sexy are like my ex girlfriends. But she have speciality in her self. Which one a comfort i got it when with her.

        I have new neighbour. They live next door to my house. They have been here a week ago. But i know that day. I was told by my Mom. You have to meet your new neighbour. Because one day we will need them. New neighbour was having a girl age you. Her name is Raina. She is good playing the violin. Her father is a businessman. And her mother is a psychologist. Where is she at school , Mom ?. Why don't you ask her tomorrow. By the way they invite us to come to the house tomorrow. Hello , my name is Jena. The girl didn't answer my question just smiled. You're playing the violin very good. Where did you learn? But the girl always smile and didn't answer my question. I'm getting annoyed to the girl. I came to my Mom and i said i want to go home. She just smiled to me. And then he asked me to the girl. My Mom talking to Raina to use sign language. Raina back talking to my Mom. Raina said she apologized to you. My Mom left the both of us. I and Raina speak with the use of sign language.

Call me Jena. I always busy with my own activities. I have a lot of social media account like Twitter, Facebook, Path, etc. I have a lot of friends at social media; I always update my recent activities in my social media to show upin myfriends news feed.For me, Gadgets like my close friend that can accompany me every moment that I do soI am very happy with my gadget.

In modern era many problemsare caused by gadget, one of the problems is social relationship. For exampleintensities of communication (meeting) with parent or friends are seldom to do.  Effects of gadget,Ido not know my new neighbor and I almost get social antipathy that careless with the situation around.

Fortunately, my mother says to me that we have a new neighbor. Our neighbor has been here about a week. I have just known about it because my activities in or out of school is full all of the day. For celebrate a new house, they invite us to attend for housewarming.

Our neighbor has a girl that the same age with me, she can play violin well butshe is speech impaired so I communicate with her by sign language. Now, I have real not virtual friend in activity, I am happy not only in social media but also in real activities. It can make me proud of by myself.

Langit merah is a new student in samudra biru’s school. He is move from surabaya. in new school langit merah must follow ekstrakulikuler. The teacher ask to langit merah meet samudra biru to know ekstrakulikulerany kind exist in school.when he meet samudra biru, he only kept queit.samudra biru explain ekstrakulikuler but langit merah do not to joint ekstrakulikuler. When langit merah arrive at home, he tell about ekstrakulikuler to langit merah’s parent. Merah’s mom  do not permit merah join ekstrakulikuler because health of merah.

At the moorning, langit merah feel headache but he must go to school. Samudra biru waiting langit merah but she can not meet with him. When go to home, samudra biru see langit merah totter and then he fall down. Langit merah is spastic. samudra biru now is know why langit merah do not to joint ekstrakulikuler. She know secret of merah

And then the king owl calling all its peoples to deliver mail to the king of birds. But abel want to deliver its alone, because it feel itself is the best. And finally its feeling tired, because the latters that its take very many. Now it is regret and shame with its arrogant. And then it apologize to its friends, Arby, Astro, Ames and its friends very happy because abel has regretted its mistake.

Satria invite Elang to the Semerumountain. Satria have the permission of the college and the Garden of Semerumountain. Elang its cold as icebergs and preferred silence. Sandra like Elang. She is always watched him. Sandra looking a book. Sandra but finding the book in a sweep of the road is Elang. Why is Elang call cold as iceberg ?because his job as a broom. He is not ashamed to work as a sweep due to the cost of tuition and expenses.

"WIND PINE" MEN

In that accident, Kenan rescued by a man - tall-black skinny-like wind pine - the known named Elang (17yo). Elang is a smart figure, full of dreams and ambitions. In order to pursue his dream he went to Jakarta as cable porter trencher after the death of his father in the great fire of his house.

Well, the Elang’s dreams not yet come true: learn in senior high school, then college and later became architecture. Elang interested a variety of books. Then Kenan intends to give him his favorite books. However, Elang had an accident hit and run motorcycle. Tragically, breathed his last. Now Kenan lost Elang forever.

Ken, Ali, Bayu and Pay were climbed the Semeru Mountain. Ken as their leader of their climbed, but Ken so arrogant and egoist. In the time, Pay who is the first time did the climb felt so tired and ask to rest for a minutes. But Ken still continues the hiking and leave Pay alone. Bayu and Ali follow Ken, because Ken is their leader. For the time Pay realize that he be lost the rute. He scream called his friend’s name, but he can’t  found his friends. In the night, he felt so cold and cannot continues the climbed. He decided to rest again. In his rest, suddenly he was surprised when he heared the voice who told to him. And then, he looked the man who stand infront of him. He is Raka, climber too. Raka gave his help and accompany Pay when Pay alone and felt so cold. And then, they talk about the climb and Raka gave his black diary to Pay. And then, Pay was felt so tired and felt so cold deep asleep in the nigh. In the morning, pay surprised with the voice whom wake up him. Ken, Ali, and Bayu were found Pay.Pay still in good condition. And then, Pay talk to his friends that Raka help him. Ken ask Pay who is Raka, and Pay show the Raka’s diary. Ken so surprised that Raka is the alumnus of his campus who be lost ten years ago and was died in the summit, Mahameru. And then, Ken open the first page of black diary.
